Help with Slingerland ID

Loading...

Hi, once more I request some information from the experts of the forum.

I just bought this Slingerland snare without any information, I believe it´s a student model of 3 ply, but looking closer... I´m not so sure...

The badge seems to be around 1964, but the experts will tell. It´s important to say that the sound is amazing!!

The snare has 6 lugs and reinforcement rings inside the shell.

Thank you and sorry for my english, here are some pictures, any help it´s important.

Perhaps it is the Deluxe Student Model?

And looks like the date, Dec 65, is stamped inside the shell along with a "P" for pearl finish in your third picture.

OHH! you´re right!! I didn´t notice, I belive it´s a deluxe student too... my doubt is with the 3 ply... can´t find them, the inner ply that appears in the picture is the reinforcement ring.

Sometimes the plys are more easily counted where they join each other.

I see three plys in picture two.

mm thats my problem, obviusly I see 3 ply, but when I look the snare, I notice that the inner ply in the picture, is the ring and not part of the shell if you know what I mean... however you confirm my suspicious, a deluxe student model with 3 ply wherever they are... Could be a Radio King student?
