Yes,we are on the same page here.There are no catalog shots/verification that PEARL badged drums ever had the two-post in the bass drum,tall-small (!)hex rod mounts like the stencils.UNLESS,as I asked,there was a second,lower tier"student" line of which there is no documentation on this site.I have seen Pearl badged drums from this era with lauan construction and straight out spurs.One was on Ebay somewhere in the central part of the country,but had the single t-bar with two barrel type arms.

I'm thinking I'm taking this thread off the road,but maybe not.Most of the posted set is the same as my stencils,except mine are the standard 12-13-16-22 with COS 8-lug snare,of which they made BEEEELIONS.And his have angled spur mounts.Lugs,mounts,T-rods,bass rims and wood type are all the same.
