It`s a Leedy professional from the 20`s or teens. It`s collectable and lots of collectors want them.
As far as correct years, and values or rarity, A few members here know all there is to know about that drum. Be patient, they will see it, but it will be seen more in the top forum.
You can try to PM member Mike Curotto, that`s one who you want to hear from. He`s got the nicest and largest collection of 20`s and teen snares, (including yours) in the world.

You will severely devalue this drum if you polish it or do anything more than light cleaning it with a soft cloth. There`s a correct way to clean this drum so it wont lose it`s collector value.

Top dollar buyers want a survivor, not a re-worked restoration, that yours don`t need.

Thank u so much still trying to find out more new to site learning how to use it. Been playing drums for a long time thought it was cool. I haven't tried to clean it at all, and will not now. It has no heads and the springs are broke a bit but also look original. And drum key looks original also
Springs ? We love pics here, more in good lighting would be fantastic. more than half of the people here know what you have.
