To Me your drum's look like a set of Roxy drum's made in west germany tom's and bass late 40's-50's,snare 60's..If you have the snare strianer and t-rod's for the tom's or t-rod's claw's for the bass drum and post a photo this would pin it down better...Mikey

Could be early Amati. As Gilnar recently posted, they made some good stuff in the early days, 3 ply shells and OK hardware. Those look like the lugs we have seen from him, and the single point lugs are really a cool idea, especially from this era, when dynamics of resonance was not a top priority. Looks as though you might have a cool set of shells as a great base for a project....now to find some single point lugs that will work and your off the battle of the bands!

Only Amati(early),i have seen were with Premier style lugs, and 2 point lugs.If Gilnar have some idea or seen those would be great to identifie. Also, measures are 22-12-18,those early Amati were often 20-12-16.

These either are not Amati, or they are first of their kind I've seen. The 3 plies I was talking about a while back looked like this:

So I'm guessing different country (but I'd still say east bloc, the lugs look typically eastbloc-unelegant to me). Maybe romanian, or hungarian? Some forum members from these countries might know.

Sorry for bumping old thread.

Dule: Some of them did, some of them didn't. My guess is that the older snares had them and as they were switching production to 6plies, they produced mixed sets for some time, before they went completely 6ply.
