I think it`s a 1985 Prestige World 6500 Series.

The Badge makes it mid 80`s.

Thanks for the response. What year was the photo from that you attached? The lugs on mine are different that the 6500 that you referenced. I found a picture from the 87 catalog that was an 8500 MX or MLX series that had the same full shell length lugs. If memory serves me correctly these were also a Deep Force package which i thought were limited to the Export series. Oh if only I kept my receipt:)

Mine is from mid 80`s. By the badges, yours looks to be the same era.

Thank you Creighton! Thanks for the followup Oddball and I see what you mean by the mounts. The MX 8500 that posted would also have the same mounts if they were not connected to a rack. The date range is spot on as I purchased these new in 88 i believe. Thanks again for the feedback and hopefully I will continue to get others looking and finally narrow my search down.

After some further research, I believe that I have finally figured it out. My kit appears to be the 1987 Pearl Prestige Custom 8500 MLX series. The custom being that it was a deep force kit. The reason that I believe this is the case is the fact that in the 1987 catalog, the MLX hoops had a lacquered finish to match the drum shell, where the MX came in a black hoop finish. If anyone has any additional feedback to support or correct this it would be very much appreciated.
