Help with gold plated? Clip on spurs.

Can anyone tell me what these are? No name brand stamped. Came with a 50s Slingy I'm working on (extra). They appear to be gold plated? I'd love to get some bucks for em to put towards my project..just curious if anyone can identify them?

Thanks!

Adam

What's the best way to clean these up a little without screwing up the plating? I don't have experience with gold stuff! Not planning on doing much...just soaking them in dawn. Is that okay? Thanks!

They dont appear to have "nobby gold" plating in the photo. Looks like standard nickel plating that has discolored. Super fine steel wool works well for something like this. Probably worth around $45.

Cool. Thanks! Upon closer inspection I think your right. Some spots still look pretty nickel plated. Thanks for the help! $45 will get me roughly half way to the clam shell I need to complete the snare...so that's good!thanks again!

Soak them in Dawn and water, scrub, and try Cape Cod Polishing Cloths before steel wool.

Did not use steel wool. Just soak and scrub. They look nice! Currently on ebay to help me fund a clamshell for the radio king snare on the kit they came with.
