Hi guys,
Found what I think is an old 1940s - 50s Slingerland 16" x 16" floor tom.
I've never seen these legs that are bent at the bottom or the hardware that attaches them to the drum on an old slingerland before but they seem to be original with no extra holes or any sign of anything odd.
Looks to be Mahogany 3 ply interior with 2 1/4" reinforcing rings, only two rings. There is nothing written on the inside.
Has one double muffler, no holes where another might have been.
Has both stick chopper hoops with the top being Slingerland engraved.
I have a 1951-53 Black Diamond Peal bass drum but the pattern on the floor tom seems a bit bigger in pattern size and not as much black in it.
Would really love to find out more info if anyone has any.
All the best,
Gregg.
