Help with Club Date Drum Legs, Please

Boy< am I confused. Ive been posting about my summer project. Restoring a kit a neighbor gave to me. Bass drum is complete. Stained, lacquered, new batter heads, etc...putting it all together. Tuned up. Final touch is the legs. Hmmmm. The Floor Tom Mount legs...just don't look like they are in the right place (??) The one on the right seems ok..the the left..is WAY too high...or am I missing something here.?

Tried to post pics of my situation. THERE are no other holes drilled in the bass drum. Got me

ok..went on youtube. Found a 63 Ludwig Club Date Downbeat , I think It was called. I thought the consolette mount..had to be dead center. Wrong! Its off to the side. Seemed to be unbalanced to me. But, that's the only way legs will be even. New to me...im a guitar player :)

Easy fix...

You have the right hand spur on left side.....

Left side on right!

Legs should curve inward...not outward......

Guitarists....I tell ya.... :-)

good eye blair. wish all of our problems could be solved that easily!

shakey-most all of the clubdate rail consolettes are dead center. they are usually not on the downbeats and such..
