Help with a slingerland snare identification model

Loading...

Hi, I have a little slingerland snare 5x12 and I want to know what model is.

According to the badge, I think it's a model from 2000, but it could also be from the late 80's?

The serial number is 942529

Is a maple shell, natural finish with 8 lugs.

If someone can help me I'll appreciate it

Hi and welcome to VDF...

You probably have to resize your pics to fit within the Forum`s restrictions...Here`s a tutorial on how to post pics:

Hello Santiago...and Welcome to the forum!

Yes, very difficult to tell without pictures. However, if I had to guess, I'd say it's a MusicYo snare drum from the 90's. Pictures will tell the story, though.

Thank you very much vintagemore.

And is it possible to know the name of the model? Or the name would be ¨slingerland taiwan¨ only?

Sorry to ask for this cheap drum in this forum where they talk about real vintage drums but I was really surprised that it sounds good enough to have cost me $$ 200 and I wanted to know if it had a name.

By the way, do you think I pay too much?
