I don't know what make it is.

Although the butt is a Ludwig, the lugs and strainer do not look like the Ludwig import drums I have seen.

The lack of any name on the strainer or shell, and the familiar looking but unknown lugs make me think it is "custom made".

I can't remember where I have seen those lugs before. They look similar to Taye lugs.

I think it is a drum assembled from parts purchased at Drumfactory or Precision, but those lugs do not appear on either of those sites.

I agree that the drum looks like a "parts" drum made from ready made components ordered from any of several parts suppliers. The person who made the drum may have already had the lugs, and had the shell drilled for the hole spacing of those lugs. I made a great little piccolo snare for my Psycho Clown Barf player's set. I made it from ready-to-assemble components that I ordered from J Riolo. There are less than $130 in parts because I bought the components during a major sale event. Mr. Riolo pre drilled the shell for the lugs, strainer, and snare butt that he sold to me. He also cut nice sharp edges on the shell. It took me less than an hour to cobble the parts together, wrap the shell, and begin playing the drum.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

A quick search - and I have found those lugs - on a REMO picollo snare. Ring a bell now?

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Well there you go!

I knew I had seen them somewhere.

A Remo drum. Not custom after all, although the butt is obviously a replacement.

Bet it sounds pretty good.
