Help in wrap ID of 1966 13" Ludwig Tom

Loading...

Hi there,

I recently added this beautiful 13" Ludwig tom #286570 to my collection. It is in beautiful all original condition, white interior, mahogany poplar mahogany, with baseball bat muffler (white) and beautiful fat rounded bearing edges - the drum is really in near mint condition. Can someone please however help me ID the wrap. I thought that it could be black oyster pearl, but it does appear to have a greenish tinge to it. What do you guys think?

Also, in order to bring the best of the 60's out of this drum, which heads would you guys suggest I fit?

Thanks and Regards

Erik

Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
