Help identifying Yamaha kit

This is on my local classifieds right now. I don't see any badges. Should there be Y-badges on these for this period of Yammies? Any input would be appreciated! Thanks

do you have any other photos? I don't think it's a Yamaha, certainly not one I'm familiar with. Just can't quite make out the lug detail in the photo though

Lugs could be Yamaha (I also can't tell for sure), but yes, they always had some kind of a badge on their drums.

The grain in the bass appears to run front to back, rather than around the drum, so if it is Yamaha (and I cannot confirm that from this picture) it is a lower line kit of Luan/mahogany (whichever you prefer to call it).

If the price is right, there may be some good bits in there for other kits, and they probably would sound fine with decent heads on them, but don't pay too much for them!

I as well don't think they are Yamaha's i own a vintage yamaha kit.

i just zoomed in on your lug's and they look like something that i have seen before on some mit kit's with various brand names attached to them. there are some features on that kit that may lead you to think that it's yamaha.

That's kinda what I thought. They were listed as Yamaha, but looked more MIJ/MIT stencil to me. Thanks for the Input!
