Help Identifying this drum

I really don’t know anything about this drum and hope someone can help me identify it and help me with some background.

It is made of metal with a canvas like drum face

Seems to be a chrome finish

No name or markings anywhere on the drum

Drum is approximately 7.25 inches by 2.25 inches

There are 12 lugs

I have posted four pictures that will hopefully help. Thank you everyone.

Looks like a banjo to me. Lost its head. Them thar iz banjo hooks, a post for or part of a neck poking out, and a mighty purty rezo-nator on the back side. Yessir, I'd say that thar iz a banjo like my cuzin Jethro haz. Falling Do
