Help Identifying these pearl Drums

I think these drums have been modified. The badges were used from late 60's to late 70's, although in the 70's there usually was an additional badge/sticker saying Wood/Fiberglass or Fiberglass shell.Bass drum legs, late 60's to early 70's.The tom holders were introduced mid 70's but I have never seen those in combination with the older bass drum legs.On the first picture you can see a cymbal mount on the bass drum. This indicates that the original kit only had one tom.If you look at the the Pearl catalogs at vintagedrumguide.com there is no trace of this "Pearl white" wrap on any kit made after 1970.So, my guess is, late 60's, one tom added, tom mounts and holders changed to later Pearl or Pearl-copy mounts. If the drums are late 60's they should be rather thin Luan shells without re-rings./Johan M

Hi Johan,

it looks like there has been a couple of mods. i thought that with the cymbal arm on kick drum and also with the bass drum legs. i havent seen that wrap on 70's or 80's kits on my searches and i am waiting for him to take some photos of the shells and send them to me. thanks for taking a look and offering your advice.

Just noticed, both toms are 12" -yet another indication that one of them has been added later. As for the snare.....I haven't got a clue :confused:/Johan M

i was looking at the toms all day and i thought they looked like a pair. i am waiting on some better pictures of snare and as soon as i get them, i will upload them.
