Help identifying shellset

Loading...

Hi all,

can anyone of you guys tell what kind of shellset this is? A guy in my village sells it for 150 bucks. Looks like a vintage Ludwig, no?

Thanks a lot in advance!

The tom mounts look like Rogers copies from Pearl in the 1970's. The metal bass drum hoops indicate Asian manufacture of the drums. They could have any one of a few hundred brand names including Pearl.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Definitely made by Pearl, around 1969 or early 70's. The lugs and Swivo-style tom holder tells me this was the higher end offering. I would certainly pay $150 US for it!
