help identifying early strainer

Loading...

This strainer was found on an early 20th snare. It is not original, to the drum. It is reminiscent of the earliest L&L strainer, but I cannot find it online or in any of my reference books It attaches to the shell at three points & is stamped Pat Applied For.

Thanks for the info. It appears to be one of the many different strainers used by Duplex. (However, I haven't seen catalogs or search images that show a Duplex snare w/ this 3 footed strainer ). Perhaps at some future time a close up pic, Or catalog page will feature this Duplex throw.
