Help identifying drums?

Loading...

Hi!

I've just bought a drum set (50€!) and looking for some help with identifying. I haven't seen the drums yet but I've got some pics.

The snare drum seems to be Premier Super Ace (?) but the rest of the kit is mystery. Calf heads on floor tom and stick chopper clip on hoops. UK-made? 1940-50's?

Hmm could be. I just haven't seen those clip on hoops on old German/DDR-made drums. I think Meazzi Hollywood has clip on hoops too?

But the snare is clearly a Premier according to lugs am I right?

Old Lefima Sets before Tacton had clips on the rims as well!

I found this picture and my drums are clearly Lefima as lugs and everything matches. Once again I knew I could trust VDF!
