Sadly they became " low end " when Tama re-issued them as low end drums. I have the same pet peeve with the recent Superstar lines they had. Now they are Superstar Classics, but It's the same. Why they couldn't use a different name, or keep the Swingstar,Rockstar names is beyond me.

Thanks to everyone that replied. It was very helpful.
As you mentioned, these are not bad sounding drums but I think dreams of Neil Peart are leading to a newer, larger kit.
