Welcome...that said~~

Please, there is nothing at all "rare" in these:

Zildijan (original - no black text, just indents - rare) Hi-Hat

Zildijan x2 cymbals, again - no black text, just indents - rare

They are just pre-ink stamped. If you would like to have them looked at to dteremine what they actually are, from what era, take some good high quality pix of the stamps and post them in the Cymbals section and the "pie guys" will be able to tell you exactly what, and the approximate age of the Zildjians. As for the drums, thay are nice, but what is with the floor tom? Is it from a different kit, or era? It appears to be mis-matched.

The cymbals have no ink on them, though - so i'm not sure what you mean.

The floor tom, wasn't made when this kit was brung out, like with the selection, there was no floor tom, it was just stock with snare and top tom.

The floor tom, I brought seperately, and it's premier.

How much do you think these roughly are wearth? I still have the original cases for them, too. And the bongos are rare to find now-a-days.

Are these Afrcan Mahogany or birch or beech? List sizes. Pics of insides and edges. Are these metric toms or standard?

VERY COOL!! Jonni, he said the floor tom was Premier in his above post. The cymbals are very cool. They could definitely be rare and valuable, possibly worth more than the rest of the drums! BUT--don't sell them, play them! Very nice indeed. The suggestion to snap pics of the cymbals, closeups with the engraved logos and post on the cymbal section is a good one.

Don't know much about the drums, possibly a catalog is out there, but they appear very old, possibly 50s or 60s.

I can't seem to capture the markings on the cymbals, but i've done some research, and they seem to be Istanbul cymbals, made in Turkey. Which was produced in the 60s-70s, and are rare to find, up to date.

I also have some other pictures, if you'd like to check the out, of the wood, premier logo, ajax logo and stands. Thanks!

Awesome! Istanbul K Zildjian cymbals! Yeah the drums are worth maybe a third or less than the cymbals.. But Highly suggested you get high-res photos of the stamps and put on cymbal section for world-reknown cymbal expert Bill H. to let you know values and eras.

I'm thinking they could be 50s though. I hope you are planning on keeping them but they look like they sound like DYNAMITE!!

Just looked at the pics, the Premier is a later, early 70s(?) floor tom.. Probably whoever owned it wanted to have a floor tom. This was perhaps all purchased in England? Or it was suggested the drummer buy another English drum to add to the England Ajax set..

The t rods and claws on the bd look non original.I used to have Geoff Nichols book on drums and there was a lot of info on Ajax drums.Ajax changed the lugs to look more modern in the late 60's, that badge makes me think early 60's.

Everything is original on the Ajax, as you can tell by the lugs, they're even on the Bongos, nothing has been changed. The premier drum also has everything original.
