Help Identifying an old Yamaha Snare(Japan)-

Loading...

I have acquired a Yamaha SD-065D 14x6.5 snare. It's in great condition. No dings or corrosion on the rings, new heads, sounds awesome. I believe it is birch. If anyone could tell me more about it as well as what a possible value would be that would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Having trouble loading pictures, with sizes adjusted properly. My apologies. However it is just like the one in the link below, except as mentioned before it is in great condition.

Well, if it is the same model, same finish and the same-same, then there you have a fair value, whatever ebay says. That said, it is worth exactly what someone is willing to pay.

Yamaha SD065D appeared in 80's. Yes, the shell is birch.

The value is $250-350, IMO.
