I just aquired these yesterday with a luddy double bass kit.

What are these and are they worth anything?

Yes they are worth something although not a whole lot by any means. These are all from the same era....1960's. There's still plenty of these still around, and demand for them as compared to some of the earlier eras is not terrribly high.

Thanks,

They belonged to a good friend of mine who passed away a few years ago and I recently aquired them, They have sentimental value to me, especially since he used to play at our jamhole where my brand new sabian hhx evolution crashes got broke. He was a animal on the drums, a real rocker!!!!!!!!! I have one 16" zildjian K that has been there for a few yrs now. It is a tuff cymbal.

Although gotta say that the 1200g 18" and the 975 15' are fine fine weights ! The 602 is probably the sought-after one - can fetch about $175 - could'a gotten $225-plus if it were 250g lighter - My condolences -the guy had good taste

It also came with a pair of 15" paiste 602, but both were broke. I guess he used them for crash cymbals. :(

Yes you're right to point that out. I missed that.

1200 gms is primo and rare. Paper-thin for that era. And consequently worth more than average.
