Help ID my Yamaha drum set please

I picked up this nice little set, but have not been able to id what model or year it is. I know it is pre-80 by the badge and serial number. It looks to have identical hardware to the Rogers 360. The snare stand is not original. (I have missplaced the top section) All the heads are original but one.

The base is 22x16 serial 5968, the floor tom is 16x17 serial 6348, tom is 13x9 serial 6968 and the snare is 14" serial 3460. I would also like to find the matching cymbal for this set once I id it. Here are photos.

I forgot to photograph the inside wood when I had them apart to clean. All are in excellent condition except the base. It has a few scratches on the bottom and was left with towels rolled up in it so the moisture those picked up rusted the surface of any metal part on the inside and darkened the wood on the areas they touched. Interior would need to be refinished and new chrome screws and washers installed.

What is this and was $300 too much to pay?

That's a 60's Yamaha and very nice.

I have a snare and all of the screws were also rusted. I just

polished them back to original, by basically hard buffing the rust. They came out really nice.

I would leave the interior and try and keep it as original as possible. You do not see many original 60's sets all together.

Not that they are rare or top quality, but they were in my opinion the best import drums at that time.

I would take a set if I could find one!

That is a beautiful looking set and $300 wasn't a bad price at all.The 60's Yamaha kits are rare in this country as Yamaha never directly had a US market until the late 70's - 80's.And matter of fact the Yamaha head quarters in Cali doesn't even have a 60's kit on display as they can't seem to find one such as yours with everything there and in tact.The kit I got was used and had no wrap and I got it for $40. The only pieces that are Yamaha are the bass drum and floor tom.The 12" Tom is a U.S.Mercury ( the lugs told me so,lol )Very nice kit again though and I loved the wraps that Yamaha used.

18 Kits & 40+ snares..

That explains why it doesn't match the 70's sets I have seen on the web and matches the late 60's Rogers 360 brochure I saw. (Supposed to be made by Yamaha.)

Do you suppose I could trade it for a new Yamaha motorcycle so they could have it for their collection? Laughing H

Also, does anyone know a decent place to buy parts for this? I need the cymbal and its post, snare stand top section and someone replaced the pedal with the wrong one so I need one of those.
