Are you sure its a Tama Kingbeat? The KB didn't have any bars going across the heads to prevent changing heads. The only bar on a KB is the rod that goes through the center of the shell to operate the parallel action strainer.

The King Beats, some of them, do have a rail or pair of rails on the bottom similar to the frame rail on other snares to protect the snare wires. And if you hang tight, Ralf will help you with that. He is the resident KB guy.
