Hi all- I have a gretsch round badge snare that I am trying to document its time line. Please email me so i can send you the pictures as I dont know how to do it here. The pictures should show most everything. It has skin heads (decent shape), the resonant is marked clover brand, original gretsch wires, the throw looks original as does all the hardware. It looks like a 3 ply shell with reinforcing rings, and the shells interior is either varnished or stained, but not the rings. The shell and wrap is tight with no blemishes other than the wraps normal yellowing. There are pencil marks in the interior on the lower ring which line up with the center of the snare which look like maker marks. Came somewhere out of the Yonkers NY area, I am almost certain it is 40's vintage or earlier Can anyone help? I have 2 other pieces to the set (bass and floor tom), which match in wrap but I think they may be older. Many Thanks in Advance
