Did somebody put a sticker on that? ... or did Zildjian really stamp them like that and this cymbal has kept that stamp this crisp and clean for this many years???

Yes that it a sticker .. again i said i got it with a drum kit .. it came as you see in the pictures

Hey, don't take offense at my "sticker" comment. That was serious. I'm the first guy that commented. When you are looking at old cymbals or old drums, you look at things that "don't fit". If I knew everything about cymbals, I would definitely have a different forum name...something like ... ultimatecymbaldude ... or ... spangalang. But, I'm mcjnic. That's kinda boring and very uncymbal-like. So, I asked a genuine question about that stamp. I had NEVER seen that stamp on an old Zildjian and that was a red light to me. So, I flagged it. That's all there was to that. If it offended you...I'll buy you a puppy or something. Later gator and smile. We are all drummers and as such are a happy lot.

It's hard to say what it really could be worth because unfortunately somebody ground it with a strong abrasive in an attempt make it thinner. That decreases the value quite a bit.
