I have to admit, I know next to nothing about vintage drums, or if this one even IS vintage, but this snare has piqued my interest, and I'd really appreciate some help determining the age, quality, and value of it.

It's described as a 6.5 x 14 wood snare (no type of wood specified) with a chrome wrap, light pitting on the chrome, and the seller claims it's known as "The Ludwig Fat Snare." The seller also says the strainer sometimes sticks, and I can't help but notice that none of the pictures really give a good view of the strainer or the throw-off. The seller is asking $150. Does anyone know what this thing is or what it might be worth? Thanks a ton,
Butterfingers
