My first post here. I'm a member of cymbalholic.com and drumsmith.

My name is Jon and I'm 25 years old. I've been playing drums for 10 years now.

The ad says Slingerland snare but I thought the seller was wrong and bid on it. It turned out to be a slingerland. Glad I didn't bet anything because I would have lot it.

The strainer has "Slingerland Sur-Grip USA" engraved.

Any idea about what is this?

It looks like a 40's Professional Model being 8 lugs, but the Universal Model had that strainer..

We do have a resident expert DrCJW that would be able to pinpoint with detailed information..

The strainer arm also looks broken.
