Cool site, how nice to find a brotherhood of drumming for the classics.

I wrote for DRUM! magazine from 1992-2000, played with Arthur Brown in the mid 80s in Texas, and I just bought a vintage 70s Fibes smokey-grey acrylic kit. It has 8x12, 9x13, 9x14, 16x16 and 18x16 toms and floor toms, a 6x14 snare and a 14x24 kick. I've known Tommy Robertson for over 20 years and am so glad he brought Fibes back to life.

I really like odd meter drummng and was definitely driven to Fibes by a teenaged worshipping of Billy Cobham. It took 30 years get the set-up, but drums do get better with age.

Happy Drum Bangin' New Years to all...
