Hello Everyone!

Just registered so I thought I'd get the introduction out of the way.

I have been drumming since about 1975/76 so I should be a lot better...

Anyway, I'm getting back into it after a patch of spotty playing for the last 10 years or so. I want to get back to a regimen of practice every day.

I am also cleaning up my Recording Customs and building myself a Drumgeon (TM) in my basement so I don't deafen the dog.

Looking forward to chatting about drums and soundproofing in the coming weeks.

I also have a few 'vintage' snare drums (although the Yams are a bit old now) from Rodgers...

Thanks!

Thanks guys!

I will attempt to post a "pre-cleaning" pic of the drums. They have been in constant use (well, some of them anyway) as my bass player's daughter took to the drums. She was disdsapointed to see the RC's going away (for some reason) but we hooked her up with a set of natural finish Yamaha Stage Custom (all birch) drums and she is quite happy with them. Anyone looking for great 'knock-around' drums these sound as good as RCs, come with the YESS mounts and are CHEAP to buy. Wicked bargain!

I mounted up a track light last night so I can see in the Drumgen finally. I will be getting the drywall tomorrow if it stops raining...

Lets see if this pic works...

How about posting some pics of these vintage Rogers snares you mention?
