The big 3 (or is it big 2.5?) all have (in order of brightness) single 10 mil heads, followed by two 7 mil ply heads, followed by two 10 mil ply heads, followed by two 7 mil ply heads with a ring of adhesive around the outer perimeter (the Pinstripe and Performance II).
Couple more options as of late too... Remo alone has the following ply configurations which are pretty much all available in clear or coated and with an option of a 5 mil dot and/or ring (either adhered or an underlay). Evans an Aquarian offer nearly all of those (I think) plus another couple of others, Aquarian does a triple ply snare batter these days if memory serves me correctly.
