Yeah that's what it looked to be. You'd think a company would offer a stand for deeper snares past 8" depth.
I have seen one company that made an extra short one for deep snares. I think it was called a "low boy" or a "low rider" or something. Not sure if it would have been THAT short, though. You could always go with a floor tom cradle, too.
