Hi, Could anyone tell me how to sort out my george Hayman's kit?! I have been the proud owner of this for about 14 yrs, The person i bought it off for a very cheap price, painted over the original gold colour,

Could someone tell me the best way to get it back to the original colour without damaging it, it is in a terrible state but i love it, it has all the original stands etc, and can't believe someone would paint over it!
