I have this snare for couple of years. When it came to me, was in that silver wrap, with no snare strainer and I think non original hoops.

So I was very happy when I realized that Ludwig snare strainer have same hole spacing, so no extra holes to drill!

I came across some 80's kind of WMP wrap.It was used on some drums made here in Serbia in 80's, so my guess is that they were made in Eastern Europe, former East Germany or also former Czechoslovakia.

It is not rewrap job to be proud with but it is nice anyway

And here it is Hayman 14 x 5 snare with white interior and baseball but tone control like Ludwig
