My girlfriend loves all the special holidays! Here's her latest creation...Uncle Sam, which she made, in front of a custom made marching drum I put together. Very patriotic! The drum was constructed from a late 70's Tama Imperialstar 14x10 rack tom with 9-ply shell, reinforcement hoops and Zolacote interior coating. Sam Barnard, of www.jamminsam.com, made the custom Red/Silver/Blue sparkle wrap for me. Sam had to do it three times to get it right. Thanks Sam! Snare beds were cut and I was able to find these die-cast Gretsch-style lugs that fit the existing lug holes. The drum looks and sounds great! I'll be using it this 4th of July for our annual backyard concert! Hope you all enjoy my girlfriend's creation and have a Happy 4th of July!!
