That`s great, I really agree with your ideas on this. I am a little more extreme. I will sometime use an actual small tooth wood file and go around the inner edge sharpening the contact point- from a 30 to almost a 45. I have done this on the 9 ply mahagony shells that had little bearing edge with (to my ears) great results. This is a really useful vid. Accolades.

Thanks Eric! I do more usually, it is only designed at this point to encourage some experimentation for guys that just have no idea how truly easy this is to get at.

Hey nice Vid!! One thing I do or did that may help also is putting some PS sandpaper on plywood or something and running the edge over it a few times first. It helps to square it up a bit.And knock off any small dings if present.

I also used a file if needed. Great work there Jonnistix. It really isn't as scary as most would think. But I will leave my 73" Rogers Londoner 5 as is.
