bbk - May not be musically correct but that's the way I see it.

I wish I could have described it as well as you did. It's hard to 'talk drums' without being able to use some kind of musical notation to demonstrate visually what you're describing. You did a first class job of breaking down an already tough groove to get a handle on. So much subtle stuff going on.
