O-Bop, you didn't state what the wrap is. Is it black or blue diamond pearl? I'm guessing $750 US. Awesome set. Is that bass a 22"?

I have a Ludwig Super Classic and 2 old Pearl (not President) and they all play really well - live or recorded.

Takuya and Fathertime are right on- 106,000yen- 1,163.00$

This one wasn`t in that great a condition either. I think they sell so high because they were "the standard" in Japanese recording and for professional players for a short but very golden period in Japan (69-75) After that time it seems that Yamaha YD9000 became the studio standard.

Anyway, I am holding onto my President for years to come - hope they continue to appreciateKiss

I think early 80s drums will be the next affordable place to search and buy- the late 60s stuff is getting a bit expensiveMind Blowi
