And back to drums: I got no plans for this 1968 Crown super cool set. Its been with me since 03' when a bought a huge bunch of drums to a guy down in Chico, CA. I was planning on restoring them and having them as a back up set for low paid gigs but they haven't left their place on the top of the shelves on my garage.
It's a very nice set with interesting features such as the 8 lugged rack tom and floor tom and the 10 lugged snare and bass drum. The tom mount works perfectly and the original BD shell mounted cymbal holder its there too. One Bass drum spurs is missing but there is a convenient metal bar that do his job. All 20 T's and claws are original and present. A little polishing on the hardware and the shells. some paint touch up on the BD hoops and new heads would put this kit back in tip top condition.
The Floor tom wrap has some cracking on the area behind the badge but can be easily repaired. No missing chunks. By the way: The wrap is an amazing Lava Lamp red that I've never seen before. Very Trippy!
The Original Cowbell with its clamp are included.
The Snare drum Throw off is not original. It has a newer era generic replacement. Theres 3 small extra holes on the shell because of this.
