Gretsch Tom Lug Question

Gretsch is a fascinating company!

My question is regarding when the switch was made from six lugs on 13" toms which were resident on the "Name Band" series up to 1960?

Was it post 1960 that Gretsch switched to five lugs on the toms?

I have a '75-ish 13 incher with 6 lugs; I didn't know they made 'em with 5. Do you mean a 12 incher?

Are you saying the 12" toms were always made with 5 lugs?

I don't know about "always",but in the 60's.......yes!
