Well , I snagged this 100% original Midnight Blue pearl floor tom on a Japanese auction last night , thinking that either someone here needs it , or knows someone who does . If I can't sell it here , I'll put it back on auction in Japan and try to re-coup my investment .

Anyway , I've got only these 4 photos at the present time . These are the only ones I could copy from the auction ( there were tons of photos ) . I'll take more when the drum arrives .

The drum still has the original Permatone heads w/ " No further tensioning necesssary after head becomes set " under Gretsch / Permatone . One tiny pinhole in one head ; I think bottom .

It appears to me that this drum was lightly used , and then packed away somewhere for many years . Unfortunately , there is quite a bit of rust on the floor tom legs . The rest of the hardware looks to be excellent ,just requiring some polishing . The seam has lifted , ( what else is new ? ) , but can be easily glued back down .

If I didn't already own a Gretsch round badge kit I'd keep this and search for a 20 and 12 as it was a bargain at 40,000 yen + 2,000 yen to ship to me ( approx . $ 365 ) . I'll sell it for $ 465 + shipping which I would estimate to be around $ 150 by Express ( I'll weigh once it arrives and get exact quote but $ 150 should be close ) .
