Gretsch snare- round badge 8 lug

Can anyone tell me about this Gretch 8 lug? What kind of wood? 6 ply? Any thought on what i might be worth? It has been in the case for many years and looks to be near mint. I would be picking this up early tomorrow afternoon, about an hour away. Any help appreciated! Thanks.

this is a 60's gretsch renown snare drum, 6 ply silver interior, probably with no tag in it!! i have a simply phrase for you "BUY IT"!!!! sales for $300-$400 and comes with all the goodies!!Jump For Joy

Hey you were dead on man, there is no label on the inside that I can see so far. Also I must say, this snare sounds incredible... It hasn't been played in decades and I havnt touched a thing. Also got a slingy marching snare that was painted blue, it's definatley gold or champaign sparkle underneath , any way , I paid a buck and both drums have cases! Thanks again
