This is the first rb I've owned, I have to try them all at least once. The 13 is a 6ply, the 16,24 are 3ply, the 16 is dated October 12, 1953. The kick is the single tension and is missing the badge
9x13,16x16,14x24
Very nice, my favorite duco colors
awesome! What a great set and WITH A 24"
That's a score!
Hey Mark, here's some info for you, with single tension bass drums, the side that has the tension handles on it will be a higher tension than the claw or hook side, I always put my batter head with the handles on that side and my resonate side with the kooks or claws, I use a Tama tension watch, so not just stating it without facts, the batter side is usually about a 5 inch pound difference, single tension bass drums sound fantastic,
Interesting, the good thing about a kick like this with the clip on spurs I'll just need to flip the drum around. I'll try usung the t-rod side as the batter, but it sounds pretty good as it is.
I'm actually thinking about selling them, not that they sound bad, I'm just more of a Ludwig guy. I bought it because I loved the finish and the price was right.
