Gretsch Round Badge Last viewed: 10 seconds ago

Well, here's the Gretsch round badge kit I picked up. The drums were rewrapped, however the 12 was wrapped in white pearl and the 14 and 22 were wrapped in vintage white pearl, so the 12 is slightly whiter. I was told that the 14 was not a Gretsch, but it looks like a Gretsch shell, it has a Gretsch tag and grey interior. The shell looks like the same 6ply shells on the other two drums. The badges also look authentic. Is there anyway to confirm that the 14 shell and badges are the real deal?

Anyway the kit has an 8x12,14x14,14x22

Even with the re-wrap and questions, it still looks like a nice kit. Enjoy.

OK, here are some pictures of the 14x14, for some reason the badge is not over the air vent hole.

So , I did some research and found out this is a 14x14 Grestch tom, it's not from the 60's, but the 70's, but at least it's a Gretsch. x-mas3

That's an 80's tag in there. I think the lug screws are from late 60's or early 70's. Not sure about the bearing edge. I like the wrap.

Well, assuming it is in fact a Gretsch from the 80's that's been rewrapped, is it worth much being a 14x14? x-mas3
