Gretsch Round Badge for 1930s Snare

Loading...

Hi!

Does anyone out there have a Gretsch Round Badge they'd sell me for a 1930s snare I'm restoring. (Someone plucked the original one out). I'm willing to pay a fair price, a reasonable price.

The last one that sold on EBay--minutes ago-- went for $60. That's a bit much for a small piece of metal--esp. in this recession.

Also willing to trade. Have a lot of extra hand percussion--congas, etc.

If you don't have one, could you direct me to any links or resources?

Thanks very much!

Believe it or not $60 is a good price! They usually go for between $75 and $125, especially the bass drum badges. Surprised no one is making a good repro.

Any chance you'd have a round badge for the snare? If $60 -$125 is the going rate, then so be it.

I have one for the bass drum.

Thanks!
