Gretsch Renown Maple ; Late Model Black Badges,

I just bought myself a Gretsch renown maple kit on Ebay.

Not yet a vintage.

I tied to find the origine of the LATE MODEL BLACK BADGES that is on it.

Up till now I never saw this badges so far.

May someone can help me in dating /placing this badge in the history of Gretsch building?

It's a Re kit. It will never (IMO) become vintage. It's not a Gretsch by standard
