I am in the process (makng payments) of buying a Gretsch 1960's kit. 2 of the 3 drums were re-wrapped by Explorer's Perc. All of the hardware and edges are original except for the bass hoops. The sizes are 22-13-16...which I prefer as it's the same as my 1st kit back in the day. Some incredibly kind drum brothers on another forum are helping me with this purchase, as I am enduring some extremely hard events in my life that I won't bore you with. The purchase price shipped is $750. I'm just wondering if that is a reasonable deal for these drums, as they are a players' kit, not a collectable. I'm simply looking for a kit that will be my last and be used for working...Any input from you all is appreciated...
