Gretsch "Giant" Hardware

I've recently purchased an '81 Gretsch "Pro Jazz" set. I was looking at the '81 catalog on the Gretsch website and the hardware is listed as 2- Giant cymbal stands, Giant snare stand, Giant hi-hat pedal, and a Floating Action BD pedal. I searched ebay and VDF for "Gretsch Giant" and came up pretty empty handed, most everything on ebay is from the 70s and earlier. Is this stuff very common at all? If so is the hardware itself any decent, or would I be better off just using modern hardware with the kit?
