gretsch parts

Loading...

I am going to start another project soon and was wondering what gretsch dealers would you guys recommend to access the following gaskets found on renown series small & large tom casings and tom mounts. They are identical in dimensions as the late 70's early 80's lugs & mounts i have, I would just like to put a gasket between them when i re-assemble. I am having shells painted with a automotive finish by a Auto Body Shop.

See pics

thanks

Actually, with a keen eye, steady hand and a sharp Stanley knife why couldn't you make them? Or get someone locally to do it. I am thinking similar ideas to improve resonance on of my old kits and I know a local Leather specialist/artist I will get to do it. Better and probably cheaper than getting those nasty black plastic things.

Just a thought.

Yea thats probably whats gonna happen. make my own but yea I would really like to protect the finish first & formost. The body shop is doing me a big favor and the price is almost within budget (lol).

when it is all done will post the pic for all to see.

emailed gretsch & they responded back that they normally don't stock them as a replacement part . but did ask how many i wanted . lol ! will see what happens.

it would be nice to put them under each lug after the shells come back from the body shop.

In the meantime i am making my own.
