This certainly is a rare drum - not vintage, but surely only a limited number of these exist.
6.5 x 14 Ming Carbon Fiber shelled Gretsch Prototype snare drum. Very sensitive and loud. Some wear on the outside of the batter head. The wrap has some scratches, nicks - (shown in photos) but nothing major and quite inconspicuous.
Footnote: actually has a "Made in Taiwan" sticker on the batter hoop - not sure if that is true or a joke. I would not be surprised it if were true. Hoops and all the hardware are Gretsch while the shell is Ming. The finish looks like the black swirl finish for the Yamaha Club Custom - the model designed with Steve Jordan, though not sure if it is an exact match or not.
BONUS: I will be including a Gretsch Stop-sign badge in this deal so you can install it on this drum if so desired. (Pic will be added a bit later this weekend).
Check out the video! Not the best sound quality - but it gives you a sample at least.
