Gretsch- lugs and tensions rods

Hi, Sometime ago I started a project on a Stop Sign Gretsch drum kit. The drums themselves are in good nick, the wrap was poor so I've stripped this and putting a new one one. On thing I am struggling with is the hardware, more specifically bass drum tension rods/t-bars.

I'm based in the UK so everything find on eBay is in the US is quite expensive due to postage and I'm assuming import costs. I just wondered if anyone on here had any ideas or had encountered similar problems.

I'm in the same boat being in the UK. It is damn awful expensive getting stuff from the states, I do always try eBay UK but I suppose a lot of stuff isn't as available there.
